About Red's Garage

Truly a family run business, Joe, wife Lori, and their son, Joe Jr., work on-site. Red’s Garage has had very strong ties with their community for decades, providing donations/sponsorships for various charities, churches, local school programs and community athletic programs.

In recent years, accolades have been given to the business from many sources, such as The New York Times, The Journal News, and The Greenwich Times. With our long standing record of service to our community and complete knowledge of the automotive industry, you’re guaranteed the personal treatment of an old fashioned garage in a completely modern facility.

The History of Red's Garage

1944 - Anthony 'Red' Zaccagnino opens Red's Garage at 12 Cottage Street in Port Chester.

1976 - Red retires after 32 years and sells his business to his nephew Joseph Sandarciero, Jr. 

1981 - Red's Garage outgrows its space and relocates to 25 Midland Avenue in Port Chester. 

Mid 1980s - Red's tapers off gasoline sales and begins to operate solely as a repair/accessory shop.

1998 -25 Midland Ave. is expanded upon to accommodate its growing operation, Red's Garage is now also known as Red's Complete Auto & Truck Center .

2004 -Red's Garage opens its first division, Rhino Linings of Port Chester

2008 - Red's expands its parking facility with plans in the works for a future showroom. 

2011- Red's completes a new showroom and parts department, featuring truck accessories and specialty truck equipment. 

2013-Red's Garage partners with NAPA Auto Parts to form another division, Red's Auto & Truck Parts

  • To recommend the services, repairs and maintenance to the car owners that are necessary to maintain the vehicle in safe working order.
  • To use only products which are safe and provide service that equals or exceeds that recommended by the vehicle's manufacturer.
  • To service and repair the vehicles in a timely manner and to keep the customer informed of any and all changes including completion times.
  • To give the best customer service possible and, in the case of any disputes, to provide a prompt and amicable resolution.
  • To ensure that my entire staff conducts themselves in a professional manner and in keeping with the high standards of the automotive industry.
  • To notify the customer if appointments or completion promises cannot be kept.
